The Carfulan Group announces its most ambitious MACH line-up in its history

The Carfulan Group will be exhibiting flagship manufacturing technology from across its four businesses – including machines never before seen publicly in the UK – at one of the most anticipated industry shows of the year.

The Derbyshire-based group has announced its most extensive product line-up ever for MACH 2020, where it will perform live demonstrations on world-leading solutions in multi-sensor metrology, 3D printing, offline tool pre-setting and inspection and turned-part measurement, all designed to help businesses achieve production efficiency and enhance product quality.

Alongside models from its VantageCNC and Zip Lite portfolios, OGP UK will provide visitors to Stand 20-460 with their first public glimpse of FlexPoint, the only co-ordinate measurement machine featuring multiple high-accuracy sensors in a VersaFlex cluster head, for precision inspection and data reporting on intricate parts.

In another UK exclusive, there will be a chance to see a high-performance multi-sensor metrology system from OGP’s new SP range (the SP 332), as well as experience a QC-CALC software booth.

Stratasys UK platinum partner SYS Systems is preparing to demonstrate the power of one of the 3D-printing industry’s biggest hitters at MACH for the very first time.

The F900 offers the largest build size of any FDM printer and uses a wide range of engineering-grade thermoplastics for applications that require high performance, biocompatibility, static dissipation or resistance to impact, heat, chemicals or UV radiation, allowing users to balance fine feature detail and fast build.

ZOLLER UK, meanwhile, has lined up a wide selection of its world-leading offline tool presetting and measurement systems, including the Smile SmartCheck, Smile Pilot 1.0, VenturionPomBasic and Genius.

These will be complemented by products from its popular Smart Cabinets range, a diverse set of manual and automated solutions that record, manage and store tools, perishables, accessories, fixtures and test devices ergonomically and intuitively.

For VICIVISION UK, a supplier of high-performance optical and non-contact measuring machines for turned parts, MACH will be used as a platform to unveil the capabilities of its impressive Techno series.

The M306 and M309 boast wide measuring fields and significant load capacities, helping to drive up productivity by making automatic and high-accuracy inspection possible in the heart of the production environment.

Chris Fulton, Managing Director of the Carfulan Group, whose headquarters is in Foston near Derby, said: “In terms of the sheer number of machines on the stand, MACH 2020 will be the biggest and most ambitious show in Carfulan Group history.

“Our aim is to provide irrefutable evidence to product designers and manufacturers that, regardless of their size, status or sector, our innovative and complementary technologies will help them to work more efficiently and effectively, so that they can deliver better outcomes for their customers.”

To be held at Birmingham’s NEC from April 20 to 24, MACH is a biennial event focused specifically on engineering-based manufacturing, bringing together the best innovations and latest developments under one roof.

The show, run by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), attracts more than 25,000 visitors and two years ago was said to be directly responsible for generating more than £200 million of business for exhibitors.

Organisers have announced hugely extended manufacturing IT and 3D printing zones for 2020, cementing MACH’s reputation as an exhibition that provides the most comprehensive overview of the manufacturing technologies industry.
