3D fashion and footwear designer Ganit Goldstein made a grand entrance at Milan Fashion Week 2022. She unveiled her exclusive GnoMon 3D printed couture collection inspired by DNA.
Goldstein was joined on the runway by models sporting 3D printed dresses created using her own patent-pending technology, which prints with living cells to form intricate three-dimensional designs on a cellular level. The dress took nearly a year to design and create, but the effort was definitely worth it. It completely mesmerised the audience and drew rave reviews from fashion critics. Among the notable attendees to the event were Princess Elettra of Italy and Lady Gaga.
Using Stratasys technology, Goldstein was able to 3D print plastic onto fabric, a technology available in industrial 3D printing using the FabriX Innovation Kit, part of the J850 Prime 3D printer.
